Each Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer we host an internship for young coaches looking to gain experience in the field of Strength and Conditioning, and Business.
Next Internships:
Interns will have the opportunity to work with athletes ranging from elementary to high school to college, professional and adults; as well as see the ins and outs of S&C coaching in a private sector.
During this internship, coaches will actually COACH and get hands-on experience working with a wide range of athletes. Candidates will also go through a thorough Intern Curriculum to help develop a deeper understanding of becoming a better coach.
Interns will learn how to better communicate, cue, and connect with athletes.
They will gain a deeper understanding of energy system development and how training affects these systems.
Interns will learn how to look for and teach global and specific exercise technique(s).
They will learn how to develop movement sessions and teach the fundamentals of linear acceleration, top-end speed, agility, deceleration, jumping, and landing.
Emphasis will be placed on athlete assessment/evaluation and how to use this information to design individualized training programs based off biomechanics, structural, postural, and sporting needs.

Interns will be required to work 3-4-days a week (~15-20-hours), attend a mandatory weekly staff meeting, and staff lifts.
