Building Better Athletes

Building Better Athletes

Building Better Athletes is a science based, results driven, Sports Performance Facility for ATHLETES!

Our system begins with a comprehensive assessment of each athlete in order to provide an individualized training program specifically designed to maximize results.  Combine this with in-depth athlete monitoring and the latest technology - this gives us the tools to give every athlete the exact prescription of what they need and when they need it.

We understand that great
sports performance training doesn't stop with training - that's why we address the athlete from every angle possible - physical, mental, emotional, nutritional, soft-tissue, mobility and much more.

Our focus is building the athlete from the ground up by becoming masters of our own movement, building authentic skills, developing strength & power, making sustainable nutritional changes, implementing individual recovery modalities, and giving athletes ownership of the Other 23.

Using these methods and principles, BBA has been fortunate to help athletes to...
  • 8 NFL Players
  • 4 Gatorade State Player of the Year
  • 2 CFL Player
  • 1 AAF Player
  • 23 State Champions
  • 24 Collegiate All-Americans
  • 34 Conference Player of the Years
  • 35 Division I Athletes
  • 284 All-Conference Athletes

Sports require multiple means of attentional focus to be successful. Can athletes allocate that focus to a pass, a catch, or carrying a ball while still being aware of their environment? Interestingly, it is proposed that this allocation of attention and manipulation of a ball/racket/stick may contribute to non-contact ACL injuries. This is how we use the research to practically apply concepts to our training. Will never understand why people don’t scour the literature for application ideas. Will also never understand the use of non perceptual, cognitive environments for athletes...
