Years of experience will be shared by the speaker line-up who possess vast experience working with people ranging from Olympic athletes to youth athletes to the injured population to the general fitness enthusiastic.

Steven Vassalotti MA CSCS- Dakota State University Strength & Conditioning Coach
Stephen is in his first season as the Head Strength and Conditioning coach at Dakota State University. He's previously spent a year as the S&C for Marshalltown HS and a year at the University of Northern Iowa heading up the men’s basketball team. Vassalotti earned his Bachelor of Science degree in health, wellness and recreation from the University of Dubuque in 2013. He also earned his master’s degree in business administration from Dubuque in 2015.
As a graduate assistant at Dubuque, Vassalotti assisted all the sports teams with daily training and conditioning sessions. He designed and implemented unique training programs for the track & field, men's soccer and men's/women's tennis teams. As an athlete he earned all-conference honors as a member of the football team at Dubuque, where he started 41 games from 2009-2013.
Stephen is in his first season as the Head Strength and Conditioning coach at Dakota State University. Preston Pedersen - Mount Vernon High School
Preston Pedersen is in his third year of teaching and coaching at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, IA. A certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Pedersen oversees and implements all strength and speed training and also coaches varsity football.
Pedersen received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwest Missouri State University (Maryville, MO) where he studied Health & Physical Education and played football for the Bearcats.
While playing football, Pedersen interned for the strength and conditioning department. Upon graduation, Pedersen accepted a Strength & Conditioning graduate assistantship and was the head strength coach for Bearcat Baseball, Men's Tennis, and Women's Tennis while also assisting all other Bearcat teams.

Danie received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Northwestern College. Danie fell in love with the hands-on curriculum of Athletic Training in college and decided to pair it with a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She is a board certified Athletic Trainer, holds her CSCS, USAW1, and PN1. She currently owns Impact Fitness and Sports Performance in Fairfield, IA with her husband Brady.

He not has has a MA in Exercise Science and his CSCS, but also has his level II USA-W certification and runs an Weightlifting Club in Iowa City, where he coaches competitors and newcomers in the nuances of the Olympic lifts.

Coach Rinehart was Drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2008 with the 96th overall pick after his playing career at the University of Northern Iowa. During his time in the NFL, Rinehart spent time with three teams: Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills and San Diego Chargers between 2008 and 2014. Rinehart played in 58 games and started in 47 of those games. Rinehart then went back to his alma mater and pursued a master’s degree in kinesiology. After graduating, Chad become the strength and conditioning coach for Waverly Shell-Rock high school.

In 2018, UD qualified both the men’s and women’s 4x100m relay teams for the NCAA Championships. The women’s relay set a new school record and came home with the Iowa Conference title in the event. The Spartans also crowned the 2018 women’s IIAC 100 meter dash champion. Also in 2018, the Spartan men were ranked 2nd in the nation over 200 meters, and 8th over 100 meters. In his first year, Spartan sprinters set 18 new top 10 all-time marks in the history books in races 200 meters or less.
Coach Hildebrandt joined the UDTFXC staff with experience in the high performance sector as a performance trainer for elite, college, high school and youth athletes at Building Better Athletes where he still works today. His strong passion for athlete development and a love for track & field is seen each day at practice.
