We are very fortunate to have Andrew Redman helping us this summer to provide any and all overhead athletes (baseball, softball, quarterbacks, volleyball, tennis) with a chance to really hone in on their overhead arm mechanics, sequencing, mobility, strength & health.
This Arm Care program will focus on helping each athlete where they are at. Whether that be an in-season baseball or softball player who needs the tools to maintain soft-tissue health and focus on key mechanics, or a quarterback/volleyball player who wants to focus on gaining arm speed and accuracy. An in-depth assessment of each athlete will occur, as well as daily video breakdown to review with each athlete.
This program consists of meeting 2-days per week for 90-minutes. The first 45-60 minutes is with Andrew working on athlete specific arm goals, and the last 30-40 minutes is with us at BBA working on specific strength, power & mobility goals.
Any "Arm Care" program that isn't addressing the underlying movement problems of each athlete; joint mobility, specific positional strength & power, and using a constraints-led approach isn't doing you justice.
We are reserving this program to only 20 serious athletes. Andrew and our team are going to provide very thorough evaluations and plans for each athlete, so we are keeping the group small in order to make sure each athlete receives specifically what they need.
(Andrew is a graduate of Hempstead HS where he was an All-State Pitcher and later became an All-American at Clarke. He is now the pitching coach at Clarke and a key reason the Pride baseball program has been amongst the most successful NAIA programs over the past 4-seasons)
